MACH Committees - 2026
The Midlands Area Consortium for the Homeless (MACH) carries out its work through a committee structure that supports governance, system performance, policy development, and member engagement. Committees are established in accordance with the MACH Bylaws and operate under the oversight of the MACH Board of Directors.

MACH is a volunteer led Continuum of Care. Committees are chaired by Board members and may include participation from general members and community stakeholders, as appropriate.
STANDING COMMITEES

Executive Committee. The Executive Committee supports the work of the Board of Directors between regularly scheduled Board meetings. The committee may act on behalf of the Board on urgent or time-sensitive matters, subject to ratification by the full Board.
CoC Performance Committee. The CoC Performance Committee focuses on system performance and outcomes across the Continuum of Care. This committee reviews data, performance measures, and trends to support planning, monitoring, and continuous quality improvement for homeless assistance programs within the MACH service area.
Policy Committee. The Policy Committee is responsible for reviewing, developing, and recommending MACH governance documents, policies, procedures, and Written Standards. The committee helps ensure MACH policies remain aligned with HUD regulations, best practices, and local system needs.
Membership and Training Committee. The Membership and Training Committee supports MACH membership engagement, orientation, and ongoing participation. This committee also assists with identifying training needs and supporting education and capacity-building opportunities for members and partners across the Continuum of Care.
Ad Hoc Committees & Workgroups. The MACH Board of Directors may establish additional standing or ad hoc committees and workgroups as needed to address specific initiatives, projects, or emerging system priorities. These groups are time limited and dissolve once their scope of work is completed.
Interested in serving on a committee? MACH members are encouraged to participate and help shape our community’s homeless response system.
