Point-in-Time Count
What is the Point-in-Time (PIT) Homeless Count?
The PIT Count provides a one-night snapshot of people experiencing sheltered and unsheltered homelessness across the Midlands. Conducted annually, the Count helps identify trends, better understand local needs, and inform decisions about services and resources. The PIT Count is coordinated by United Way of the Midlands, MACH’s lead agency, with support from community partners and volunteers.
